Project Coordinator
Sam B. is TMN's Trans Job Connect Intake Coordinator. Sam comes to Trans Matters Now with a background in the Arts & Science, from Oberlin College. Sam will be working with our Trans Job Connect team and clients to aid in the employment search process.
Project Coordinator
Charnice J. is a Paralegal Magna Cum Laude Graduate. She has specialized training in managing a culturally diverse workplace, and sexual harassment in the workplace. She comes to us with a eager desire to learn about trans issues, and how to best serve the community.
Graphic Designer
John S. is TMN's Graphic Designer. He comes to us with a highly-skilled background with more than 10 years of creative experience. He has a strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign, Final Cut Pro, and Google Suite. His specialties include: displaying and presenting content through high-quality graphics, carefully selected colors, tasteful typography, and cohesive layouts.

Lisa C. comes to TMN with 20 years of cosmetology experience, and owns a salon in The Valley. She has a plethora of experience as a stylist for Broadway Productions. Lisa graduated from the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts.

Ashley W. approached TMN with the desire to begin a project with us! She wanted to launch a clothing exchange/assistance project where trans people could find appropriately gendered clothing.

Kat B. is TMN's co-founder. They have been an integral part of Trans Lifeline's Peer Support & Crisis Hotline for the last five years. Their tenure includes working in operations, volunteer training, University of TN focus group related to transgender issues, assisting in the creation of the hotline training program alongside the previous Educational Director, & Program Coordinator of the Lifeline's Family & Friends Call-Back Program.

James is the founder of TMN. He worked for over a decade in the medical field, in roles such as: Medical Unit Secretary, Telemetry Monitor, Nurse Assistant, Contract Nurse, Nursing Student Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Wound Care Specialist, & Nursing Educational Coordinator. He has experience in Customer Service, Project Development & Management, Staff Education, Business Ownership, Non-Profit Board of Directors, and Senior Management.
