Understanding Non-binary People
Non-binary people do not identify within the typical binary genders of "male" and "female". These individuals identify outside of the gender binary. Non-binary people will sometimes use neo-pronouns such as: xi/xir, ze/zem, mx, etc. They may also use the singular "they" pronoun.
